JOHN KENNEDY faces another operation on the knee he badly damaged five years ago, and is looking at a further 10 months on the sidelines.
The unlucky Celtic defender is set to return to the Colorado clinic of Richard Steadman for the latest op.
The 25-year-old has not played since returning early from a loan spell with Norwich.
He had featured regularly for the Carrow Road club, but then suffered an injury to his left knee during a game against Reading in December.
Kennedy believed it was not his rebuilt ligaments which had been damaged this time, and began a rehab programme which he hoped would allow him to play again by February.
But he now accepts an operation is once again his only option.
