Young shoppers went bananas when the characters from their favourite TV show made a surprise visit to a local supermarket with an important message.
Sportacus and sidekick Stephanie, the stars of CBBC's Lazytown, jumped into action at ASDA in Maryhill, to teach children about the benefits of Sports Candy.
However, the delicious range of healthy snacks was already as familiar as fruit and vegetables with the star-struck children.
The Lazytown team, who are in the city until Sunday, performing their live show, The Pirate Adventure, at the Theatre Royal, stopped off in Maryhill to meet the city's budding sport stars.
Energetic Sportacus led the way in teaching the tots how he eat their five-a-day to keep fit and active.
The visit proved fruitful for all, with the kids enjoying a fun day and a taste for healthy living.
