COUNCIL bosses have unveiled a 12-month plan which they hope will help move towards recycling target of 40% by 2010.
East Dunbartonshire Council aims to increase resident participation by encouraging people who do not already recycle to get involved.
The council also aims to help those who do recycle to do it better, including introducing paper collections from blocks of flats.
The current recycling rate stands at 33% but the 2010 target of 40% looms large.
