NEIL LENNON could only smile when he heard Sir Alex Ferguson tip Celtic to join Manchester United in qualifying from Champions League Group E.
The Parkhead coach knows all about the mind games Fergie likes to deploy, and refuses to be suckered in by them.
The former Celtic skipper said: "It's nice of Sir Alex to say that, but then again he might be wanting to put a little bit of pressure on us.
"It could be between ourselves, Villarreal and obviously Manchester United. But you never know with Aalborg. They could be the surprise packet.
"So we have to make sure we win our home games and hopefully teams will take points off each other along the way."
However, the vastly-experienced Lennon warned on Celtic TV: "Winning your home games is easier said than done and there is no guarantee we'll do it again this year.
"But that's what we will be focusing on, and trying to get that elusive away point somewhere."
