A MAN was rushed to hospital after being knocked down close to an underground station in Glasgow's West End.
He was believed to have been hit by a car near Hillhead Subway station on Byres Road at around 8am today.
Paramedics treated him at the scene, but he is thought to be in a serious condition in the Western Infirmary.
Police said inquiries were continuing.
Meanwhile, a man is in a serious but stable condition in Glasgow Royal Infirmary after an accident on Clyde Street yesterday.
The 44-year-old suffered a head injury after being struck by a Vauxhall Corsa driven by a 30-year-old woman at 4.15pm.
Police asked for witnesses to contact them.
