STREET entertainers are an integral part of shopping in Glasgow, and the pedestrianised parts of Sauchiehall Street provide an ideal stage for acts from singers to tightrope walkers.

Add to that the amazing and painstaking skills of the pavement artists and you are always guaranteed to draw a crowd.

"I took the picture from the top of the John Menzies Centre, which is now the Sauchiehall Centre," John recalled.
