BLACKBURN Rovers have already sold almost 12,000 tickets for their big FA Cup quarter-final replay with Liverpool at Ewood Park on Wednesday, April 8 (7.45pm).

And should Rovers beat the Reds at the second time of asking their semi-final showdown with Aston Villa will take place on Sunday, April 19 (3pm).

The Football Association yesterday confirmed the dates of the Wembley semi-finals with the other last-four tie, between holders Arsenal and Reading, on Saturday, April 18 (5.20pm).

Tickets for the Liverpool replay are now on sale to Rovers season-ticket holders and supporters with a database booking history.

Tickets cost £30 for adults, £22.50 for over 65s, £15 for 17-21-year-olds, and £5 for under 16s.

They will remain on sale until 2pm of the day of the all-ticket match.

The Darwen End will be allocated for away fans. In addition Block E04 in the Riverside Stand, W01 in the Jack Walker Stand (lower tier) and rows 1-9 of W07 in the Jack Walker Stand (upper tier) will be closed.

Season-ticket holders have until close of business tomorrow (in person) or Sunday (online) to claim their own seats for the game, which will be broadcast live on BT Sport.

BT Sport will also show the semi-final between Villa and Rovers or Liverpool.

The FA yesterday also confirmed ticket prices for the semi-finals.

It said: “There will be four ticket prices, starting at £33 and progressing to £43, £53 and £63 across the two ties with a £10 reduction for concessions as per each club’s own rules.”

Should Rovers progress to the semi-finals their Championship clash at home to Millwall would be put back 24 hours to Wednesday, April 22 (7.45pm).
