THE agent of Rudy Gestede has spoken about the Blackburn Rovers top-scorer’s potential move to Crystal Palace.
David Wancier claims Rovers rejected a bid from Palace, believed to be around £3.5m, last week for the 12-goal striker.
He also states that Gestede ‘really wants’ to sign for the Premier League outfit but ‘remains committed’ to Gary Bowyer’s side.
Wancier told the Guardian: “Crystal Palace made an offer to Blackburn last week but it was rejected.
“Now the clubs have to discuss to try and find a solution. The player really wants to sign for Crystal Palace but is also committed to Blackburn.
“Rudy has been enjoying this season and just wants to play football. He just wants the club to consider this great opportunity for him to achieve his ambition to play in the Premier League.”
