Same old story 2-0 down defensive line up no muscle up front. What has happened to last years back end approach, apart from the Bournemouth game we haven't seen it this season. It won't matter how many players we bring in GB has not got an out right winning mentality and can't see this guy getting us promotion he is just giving Venkys false hope and conning them into spending more money. Why has he not brought Brown on we obviously need a different approach.

No doubt Bowyer is a nice personable guy and hard to dislike.

However he will not get us into the play offs, let alone going straight up. He does not have a plan B and cannot make changes to positively influence games.

Ruthless business he is in, and I don't think he is up to the task of saving our club from administration that will follow if we do not get back to the Premiership.

Think some fans expectations are too high. This squad was never a promotion winning team. Not any different from most in that league. Without a stand out squad or a couple of game changing players you are relying on a good tactical manager and consistent team work. Bowyer is just ok. Not controversial so steadied the furor round the club but not canny enough for outwitting other managers. We should finish top half but if venkys think Rhodes is the difference between promotion or not they are misguided.

Did someone fall asleep and forget to post the match report. Like how hard is it to do? 10 goals conceded in 5 matches, only Huddersfield have let in more than us. Sort the dam defence out, its shocking, its completely open. I knew before today as did most rovers fans, we were going to ship another 2-3 goals today. We have no defence whatsoever. What the hell are these 4 doing? Hanley, Lowe, Henley and Baptiste fail big time. We are going to be in relegation fight unless we get some new defenders in, you know those that can actually defend. Bring some defenders in please.

What a joke my Rovers have now become. Down to 14th and on the slide after a shocking performance. Already 5 points adrift and leaking goals at an alarming rate. The second worst defensive record in the Championship.

And this a season in which we MUST be promoted AT ALL COSTS! What hope have we got with FFP ready to land the final blow. Get Bowyer out before he can do any more damage to us, abysmal tactics and substitutions Bowyer, abysmal.

Our next four games? Wigan, Derby, Fulham and Watford.

God help us all.

I’m just glad I didn’t go to Wolves today.

I’m sure that when the team was announced all Rovers fans there must have known what was coming.
A team with Lowe, Williamson and Evans was never going to create a thing.

I would love to see some stats showing our results when GB has selected 2 holding midfielders (any combination of the above 3 players).

GB's biggest mistake was not signing Dave Jones.
He's a proper central midfield player and is now starring for the Dingles.

The obvious choice to replace Gestede today would surely have been Varney.
After all GB bought him as a striker (after not impressing last season) but for some reason he refuses to play him up front.
Even against Scunthorpe.
What does that say?

I have never shared the optimism of many Rovers fans who believe that we are strong promotion candidates, on the contrary I feel that we may even struggle to make the play-offs again this season as we continue to leak goals and cannot keep a clean sheet.

GB dosn’t inspire me, he is far too negative and seems unable to motivate a team.
This is his team and he has no excuses now.

Errrr, just scroll past then. I rarely read its posts and never honour them with the with dignity they so clearly beg by voting them either 'up' or 'down'.

Even when i 'reply' to it, i never read its posts, i reply 'blind' so to speak. On a more serious note, I wouldn't call it "autistic" but i think it's almost certainly neurotic.

The intensity of its posts, the effort and energy that goes into them and the length of them is a victory of sorts, another indication of how much anger is simmering away.

When i do read it's posts a laugh my c*ck off. They'e f*cking hilarious. Never take it seriously. I don't. It takes me very seriously though and i cannot tell you how much immense pleasure that gives me. I am intensely relaxed about it.

Watch the for the votes as well. It usually clears its cache memory and votes its own posts up and other posts down. It usually votes mine and AP4B's down quite a lot.

There was a couple of us talking about this a while ago, not just it but B*rnley in general. The tearful neurosis of Dingle's when engaging with one in person is something to behold. I've seen 'em close to tears on a couple of occasions. One was so tearful and angry with bits of spit flying out of its mouth that this lass felt so sorry for it she told us to stop picking on it - even though we weren't.

It just kept coming out with really embarrassing mythical codswallop about 50,000 crowds and the Sherpa Van Trophy cup run back in '88.

This is just not good enough. With the squad we have, I expect more. Williamson and Henley have no place at this level and Bowyer needs to start making smarter selection decisions and using the quality players that he has at his disposal. I am Angry.
First time I have had to get online since yesterday and I have to agree with you. Have to admit that when I saw our back four before the game started my heart sank.

Listening to the game there was cross after cross going in, but everyone apart from GB knows that Rhodes isn't a target man and doesn't play one up front all that well.

I couldn't see the point of bringing two midfielders on when we were 1-3 down, surely even an half fit Brown, who can put himself about a bit, would have given us more options?

But I am just a fan so what do I know.

Good news was that we were going to go but I was too late to get places on the coaches, bad news is I booked us on the coaches for Fulham yesterday.

I will certainly be looking for a better all round performance at that game.
