BLACKBURN Rovers have made nine changes to the second string side which down to a shock Capital One Cup loss to Scunthorpe United on Tuesday.

Only Jason Lowe, who will again start at right back, and winger Josh King retain their place from the team which started the bitterly disappointing 1-0 defeat.

King’s first start of the Championship season means Tom Cairney will play in the centre of midfield alongside Corry Evans.

Troubled Lancashire rivals Blackpool contain 10 home debutants in their starting line-up.

Both sides are looking for their first league wins of the campaign.

Rovers drew their opener 1-1 at home to Cardiff City while Pool went down 2-0 at Nottingham Forest before also exiting the Capital One Cup to lower-division opposition in midweek in the shape of Shrewsbury Town.
