DAVID Dunn has signed a new one-year contract at Blackburn Rovers.
The 34-year-old was out of contract this summer but had been in negotiations for some time and has now penned a deal ahead of Rovers' opening pre-season match at AFC Telford United tomorrow.
"I'm delighted that he's been able to continue his association with the club," said Rovers boss Gary Bowyer.
"I think it is a rare commodity in football nowadays that a player starts at the academy and has a long career at the club.
"His experience will be invaluable this season on and off the pitch, he is Mr Blackburn Rovers."
