Bowyer committed to Blackburn Rovers

This Is Lancashire: Gary Bowyer Gary Bowyer

GARY Bowyer has this afternoon issued a statement reiterating his commitment to Blackburn Rovers.

Bowyer has been linked with the vacancy at Leeds United but the Rovers boss said: “I recently met with the owners in India and those discussions were both positive and constructive.

"I am fully committed to building on the foundations we have put in place over the past 12 months.

"There is a strong sense of unity with all concerned at Blackburn Rovers and I look forward to that continuing as we plan for next season."

Well said Gary,l am sure you know how hard you have worked building this squad and how you would like to see it blossom into a very good team capable of going even further next season and we all want the same thing in the end .

As I said before, Leeds are employing the scatter gun effect to see if someone applies, they would probably have mentioned Dyche if it wasn't for the fact he is being linked with Southampton.

No manager currently in employment should consider Leeds, their new chairman goes through managers faster than a bad curry.

The new Leeds owner has actually been putting money into Leeds United. Was Judge going Bowyer's idea or not?

Myers and Bowyer came back from a meeting in India with Venkys and Bowyer stated 'we presented our views. They presented theirs'.

Bowyer's said to be going out to India again. This dos not suggest a meeting of minds between those here who know a thing or two about football and those in India who don't. There's only so much of Venkys and trips to India that any man can take.

Naturally a manager is fully committed to a club ... right up to the point when he leaves.

Judge went because he's simply not good enough. Leeds Utd may have a big fan base but other than that what have they got? A poisonous club, dilapidated ground and an owner who's fired more managers than Super_Cowards had accounts on here.

Not gonna happen pal.

Like to see how the new owners are "putting money into the club", you haven't read FFP have you?

They are just as restricted in doing so as every other club under FFP, admittedly they have better gates than most other clubs in the Championship but that won't count for much.
