Rovers midfielder Judge sends Brentford up to the Championship

This Is Lancashire: Alan Judge scores from the spot Alan Judge scores from the spot

BLACKBURN Rovers loanee Alan Judge fired Brentford into the Championship after his penalty earned them a 1-0 hone win over Preston North End.

Judge, who left Ewood Park to join Brentford on loan in January, converted a first-half penalty and missed a second-half one too, but his goal was enough to secure an automatic promotion spot after Rotherham and Leyton Orient both lost.

Judge is contracted to Rovers until the summer of 2016.

At least a BRFC player can get a team promoted. Pity it wasn't the Rovers.
