The teams are out.

7:39pm

And those teams in full...

Watford: Almunia, Hoban, Angella, Ekstrand, Cassetti, Murray, Tozser, Merkel, Pudil, Deeney, Anya. Subs: Battocchio, McGugan, Doyley, Faraoni, Diakite, Neill.

Rovers: Robinson, Kane, Keane, Kilgallon, Spurr, Evans, Williamson, Conway, Dunn, Gestede, Rhodes. Subs: Eastwood, Hanley, Olsson, Varney, Taylor, Feeney, Dabo.

7:23pm

Watford, who have won their last six home games in all competitions and have not conceded a goal at Vicarage Road in 625 minutes, have made four changes to the team which started Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Wigan Athletic.

Joel Ekstrand, Sean Murray, Tommie Hoban and Alexander Merkel take the place of Essaid Belkalem, Cristian Battocchio, Davide Faraoni and Lewis McGugan while former Rovers defender Lucas Neill is named on the Hornets’ bench.

7:23pm

Rovers have recalled Todd Kane and David Dunn for tonight’s clash.

Dunn replaces Liam Feeney and he is expected to start at the tip of a midfield diamond.

Kane, meanwhile, is in for Adam Henley, who will not play again this season after injuring his ankle in Saturday’s 1-1 home draw with leaders Leicester City.

Rovers include fit-again captain Grant Hanley among their substitutes.

7:14pm

Good evening and welcome to Vicarage Road. Team news coming up.

Outplayed Watford tonight and made them look ordinary. Deserved all 3 points but....
Story of our season , still, never mind. The team is improving, Conway immense tonight and a good show from Dunny.
Play offs out of reach but building some confidence and momentum wont do any harm at all

Well done to the fans that travelled down to Watford today,
I didn't go as I was working but I'm glad we didn't lose, there is nothing worse
than travelling all the way home feeling miserable and from what I heard we
put on a good show.
Lets hope we keep it up!!

The sad thing is we are completely lost without dunny, surely cairney should be taught that role? Its a no brainer for me but GB thinks he's a winger? Next year I'd have cairney there with dunny as cover with a three of Evans Conway and Marshall, three grafters

You are better off following this via the BBC Football website as it updates automatically. I was obviously not at the game as I only go for the home games but I heard that Rovers were the better team.

And ... we would have won the game if Kane had not given away a penalty!

French Rover says...

Having a go at teams and scoring goals is the exactly the right policy for us, gets us used to doing what the top teams do in most matches, ready for our assault on the league next season.

I remember the last time we drew a game 3-3 away - it was at Wigan a couple of years ago when we got a pen in the sixth minute of injury time and Yakuba scored it. It was given after Robbo got kicked in the head in the Wigan penalty area after he came up for a last minute/second corner. The fella that fouled him was Dave Jones (Later joined the Roversand then defected to Burnley)....

good point away tonight at a decent team.

I agree, don't think he has done too bad and at least tries to pass the ball out of defence unlike dann who tried to get Rhodes obliterated by seven foot centre halves.we could really do with Hanley back tho just for presence. Maybe try Keane at full back, we've struggled there all season.

Dropping to 11th in the league is an absolute disgrace and Bowyer should finally hold his hands up and say enough is enough! I'm a youth coach, GET ME OUT OF HERE!

I hate to say it but..... 28 points.

I think you'll find TWO DIVISIONS was a slightly larger gap. Anyway best of luck next season, try to enjoy it because it could get messy.
