Blackburn Rovers well beaten by Manchester City in U21s Premier League

BLACKBURN Rovers suffered their heaviest defeat of the U21s Premier League season when they went down 6-0 to a classy Manchester City side at Leigh Sports Village last night.

Rovers boss Eric Kinder said: "They are the best side I've seen at anything that you class as youth level.

"I've seen a lot of League One and League Two football this season on my travels watching our loan players and they would give any of them a game.

"If we don't learn from that then we are foolish."

Will the embarrassment ever end for Blackburn Rovers?

The future for you lot is looking decidedly grim considering that Financial Fair Play and the associated transfer embargo will force you to develop your own players from next season.

What a shambles, from top to bottom.

I maybe would hold my words on this particular article - Burnley U21s have to play Man City in the next couple of weeks in the U21 Premier League Cup semi-final.

Sounds like we could be in for a tough game?

Bit unfair that comment , what I hear Eric `s doing a decent job .

Eric Kinder needs a young coach alongside him.

Well at least we got to the s/f. Unlike Rovers who lost at Exeter.
