RUDY Gestede and Todd Kane have been recalled to the Blackburn Rovers team for tonight’s Championship clash with in-form Bournemouth at Ewood Park.

Striker Gestede replaces David Dunn, who drops to the bench after complaining of cramp in Sunday’s 2-1 East Lancashire derby defeat at home to Burnley.

Right-back Adam Henley is also named among the substitutes with his place being taken by Kane.

Rovers come into the match on the back of back-to-back losses to Burnley and Bolton Wanderers.

Bournemouth, in contrast, have won two their last two matches, 1-0 at Blackpool on Saturday and 5-0 at home to Doncaster Rovers the week before.

The Cherries, managed by former Burnley boss Eddie Howe, make one change as Harry Arter comes in for Brett Pitman.

Rovers: Robinson, Kane, Hanley, Keane, Spurr, Varney, Evans, Lowe, Conway, Gestede, Rhodes. Subs: Eastwood, Dunn, Williamson, Taylor, Feeney, Dabo, Henley.
