Rovers star Dunn behind the counter

BLACKBURN Rovers fans’ favourite David Dunn will be serving customers in the club shop at Ewood Park from 4pm tomorrow.

The midfielder will get behind the counter at Roverstore to help promote his attempts to raise money for charity by raffling off the black boots he was wearing when he scored the dramatic equaliser in last season’s East Lancashire derby at Ewood Park.

Raffle tickets cost £10 with all proceeds to be split between HYPE of Blackburn, The John Bury Trust and Prostate Cancer UK.

The draw will be made at Rovers’ home game against Bournemouth next Wednesday.

Seeing as their game isn't till Sunday no doubt we'll be seeing Dunny supporting Stanley on Saturday as he usually does if either Rovers have no game or he's injured so he could well be a little late for his stint in the Rovers shop :)

And isn't it strange how they never mention our goal at Turd moor which was 2 yards onside, prior to ollson's dive for our pen. Or more recently, that diabolical decision last Saturday when the ref gave Burnley the game by disallowing a perfectly good goal and sending a player off for slipping in the box. A win on Sunday coupled with Derby winning at home the day before will leave the fans down when they are all convinced they have already won. Then when the Leeds game comes around they could be back in 3rd if Derby win at home midweek. First home defeat of the season to follow. Fans start to get worried. Ridiculous luck with injuries runs out and a couple of key players go missing for the run-in. A team like Wigan or maybe Brighton with more momentum beat you in the play-offs and you're back to square one again, in the championship next season. The club sell Ings and maybe one more to offset the 10 or more million loss that you WILL post next time round and then.....how long before Dyche becomes Judas 2, the sequel? If you don't get promoted with the position you are in now, next season will be the struggle all predicted for this season. You cannot rely on so much luck with injuries with such a small squad again. And as far as getting rid of that 35 year old chip on your shoulders on Sunday, you will never have a better chance against our inconsistent and now injury ravaged team. You have to do it this time and you know it. And if it wasn't so important, you wouldn't spend every day posting on here.

Yes, saw that. Livesey had a couple of cheeky little digs but all good banter. Would be good to know what they were like together off camera. I remember Tony Livesey when he did the morning show on Radio Lancs a couple of years ago before Graham Liver came back. He had just played the Terry Jack's record seasons in the sun and said afterwards, those words in that chorus weren't the ones we used to sing at Barden school! Nice one!
