BLACKBURN Rovers have made two enforced changes for this afternoon’s Lancashire derby with struggling Blackpool at Ewood Park.
Right-back Adam Henley (Achilles) and Lee Williamson (concussion) are replaced in the starting line-up by Todd Kane and Chris Taylor.
Rovers, who go into the game five points off the play-off places in ninth, are able to name new signings Bryan Dabo and Craig Conway on the bench after their international clearance came through this morning.
Grant Hanley will captain the side after skipper Scott Dann was sold to Crystal Palace.
Blackpool, without a win in 12 games and now under the command of former Rovers midfielder Barry Ferguson after Paul Ince’s sacking, make three changes to the team which started their 5-1 defeat at Reading on Tuesday.
Andy Halliday, the fit-again Gary MacKenzie and debutant Faris Haroun come in for the injured Jack Robinson and the benched Nathan Eccleston and Michael Chopra.
Rovers: Robinson, Kane, Hanley, Kilgallon, Spurr, Taylor, Lowe, Cairney, Dunn, Rhodes, Gestede. Subs: Eastwood, King, Olsson, Dabo, Morris, Mahoney, Conway.
Blackpool: Gilks, McMahon, Broadfoot, MacKenzie, Cathcart, Osbourne, Perkins, Basham, Haroun, Halliday, Davies. Subs: Warner, Tyson, Chopra, Eccleston, Keogh, Martinez, Dobbie.
