GOALKEEPER Paul Robinson and top-scorer Jordan Rhodes return to the Blackburn Rovers line-up for this afternoon’s Championship clash at home to Derby County.
Former England number one Robinson missed last Saturday’s 4-1 defeat at Nottingham Forest with a hamstring injury.
But Robinson has been deemed fit enough to take over from Simon Eastwood between the posts.
A niggling footy injury meant Rhodes started the Forest match from the bench.
But after a full week’s training the 16-goal striker takes his place in Gary Bowyer’s starting XI at the expense of Lee Williamson.
Rovers captain Scott Dann – who this morning was linked with a move to Norwich City – misses out with an Achilles injury.
His place is taken by Matt Kilgallon.
Fourth-placed Derby, who are 10 points above eighth-placed Rovers, make one change to the side which started their 1-0 home win over Brighton & Hove Albion last Saturday.
Jeff Kendrick is in for highly rated 18-year-old midfielder Will Hughes, who has been rested to the bench.
Rovers: Robinson, Henley, Hanley, Kilgallon, Spurr, Taylor, Lowe, Cairney, Marshall, Gestede, Rhodes. Subs: Eastwood, Kane, Dunn, Olsson, Williamson, Morris, Mahoney.
Derby: Grant, Wisdom, Buxton, Keogh, Forsyth, Eustace, Bryson, Hendrick, Dawkins, Ward, Martin. Subs: Legzdins, Russell, Sammon, Hughes, Whitbread, Bamford, Keane.
