RUBEN Rochina, Bradley Orr and Yann Songo’o are understood to be edging closer to leaving Blackburn Rovers on loan.

Rochina, 22, is being lined-up to join La Liga strugglers Rayo Vallecano on loan until the end of the campaign.

It will be the second January in succession that the Spanish striker, who has struggled to win a place in Gary Bowyer’s side after returning in November from injury, has returned to his homeland after spending the second half of last season on loan at Real Zaragoza.

Orr looks to be heading to Canada to sign on loan for Toronto FC.

It is believed that right-back Orr, 31, will remain with the Major League Soccer side, who are managed by former Rovers defender Ryan Nelsen, until December.

Songo’o, meanwhile, is on his way to Ross County.

The centre-back, 22, will spend the rest of the campaign with the relegation-threatened Scottish Premiership outfit where another Rovers player, striker Jordan Slew, is also on loan.

Of the three deals it is expected that Songo'o's will go through first.

Reports yesterday linked Rovers forward DJ Campbell with a move to Championship rivals Millwall.

New Millwall boss Ian Holloway is a big admirer of Campbell, 32, after managing him when he was in charge of Leicester City and Blackpool.

Campbell is on police bail until April after his arrest in December by National Crime Agency officers probing spot-fixing allegations in football matches.
