BEN MARSHALL is finally ready to step out of the Ewood Park shadows after he helped end Blackburn’s tough week on a high.

The winger has spent much of the season on the bench since his summer move from Leicester.

But he has forced his way into the starting line-up and netted his first Rovers goal as Millwall’s away-day misery continued.

Daily Star Sunday

Gary Bowyer praised Ben Marshall's influence after his first Rovers goal helped secure an important win. "Ben's performance against QPR gave him loads of confidence, and today's goal should fill him with confidence even more. We know he has real talent, and he wants to succeed."

MILLWALL suffered another three-goal away defeat, this time at Blackburn, with controversy surrounding the clincher.

Alan Dunne was hacked down in the Rovers half but ref David Webb gave nothing as the hosts won a corner. David Dunn scored from the resulting flag-kick and it was the vital goal.
