WILFRED Zaha inspired Manchester United under 21s to a 2-0 win over Blackburn Rovers under 21s at Leigh Sports Village on Monday night.
Zaha scored the first on 67 minutes and was brought down for the free kick which led to James Wilson sealing the win nine minutes later.
Darren Fletcher and Fabio da Silva also played in a strong United side while Rovers, who’s best chances fell to Jordan Slew and Raheem Hanley, didn’t include any of their first team squad.
Rovers’ youngsters are next in action at home to Middlesbrough on Monday, December 16.
