JORDAN Rhodes has scored twice as Blackburn Rovers have come from behind in spectacular fashion against 10-man Barnsley.
Chris Dagnall put Barnsley in front in the 13th minute as he collected the ball outside the area and turned to fire a low shot into the bottom corner.
But Rovers were back on level terms within three minutes, after Jean-Yves Mvoto was sent off for bringing down Rhodes when the striker was through on goal.
From the resulting free kick, Tom Cairney curled a superb 20-yard effort into the top corner.
Rovers then pushed for a second goal and it arrived in the 29th minute when Todd Kane crossed from the right and Rhodes headed in at the far post for his first goal of the season.
Rhodes then netted his second of the game six minutes before half time, latching on to Scott Dann’s fine pass and lobbing keeper Luke Steele.
Another goal soon followed, as David Dunn sent Kane away down the right flank and the full back squared for Josh King to turn home.
