Stewart relieved at point

CAMERON Stewart admitted his delight at Blackburn Rovers’ last-gasp equaliser against former club Burnley yesterday.
Stewart spent the first half of the season at Turf Moor and provided the cross for David Dunn to level in the 95th minute – after having to deal with some friendly banter from his old team-mates during the game.
“It was strange for me and I know a lot of the boys at Burnley and they’re a nice set of lads,” Stewart said.
“But as soon as the whistle went it was down to business and I had a few rough and tumbles. There were a few little words and chirps in my ear!
“It was all kind-hearted after the game though.”
And Stewart admitted he was pleased for the Ewood faithful that they had protected their unbeaten run against their near neighbours.
“I’m buzzing that we got the equaliser,” added the midfielder.
“We knew Burnley hadn’t beaten us for 34 years so I don’t think anyone wanted to lose the game.
“The lads are delighted, we stuck at it even when it looked like it wasn’t going to go for us.
“In the end I think we deserved to get the equaliser.”
