MORE than 50 dogs - and their owners - took part in a sponsored walkies to raise cash for charity.
The pooches took part in the first dogathon held at Brightlingsea in aid of Headway Essex.
It is hoped more than £1,000 will be raised which will be put towards caring for the survivors of brain injuries and their families.
