BLACKBURN Rovers due Raheem Hanley and Jack O'Connell have been included in the England Under-19 squad for their forthcoming friendly match.
The youngsters have been named in Noel Blake’s squad for the match against Finland next month, having won their first caps last month.
Hanley was named on the substitutes bench for Rovers first team’s win over Watford on Saturday and has already captained the club’s under 21 side this season.
Centre half O’Connell, 18, made 35 appearances for the academy and reserves last season after they beat a host of other clubs to his signature in the summer of 2011-12.
The pair are included in an 18-man squad for the international friendly that takes place at Telford on Tuesday, November, 13, kick-off 7.30pm.
Hanley and O’Connell both earned their first caps at Under-19 level in last month’s qualifiers in Tallinn against Estonia and Ukraine. The Finland friendly will provide good preparation for next year’s Euro Elite Qualifying Round.
