Rossendale United and Clitheroe set for derby tussle

ROSSENDALE United will be bidding to move off the bottom of UniBond First Division North when they host East Lancashire rivals Clitheroe tomorrow.
Rossendale remain a point behind Ossett Albion, knowing that bottom spot will mean automatic relegation.
But the Stags do already have one home victory to their name this season against seventh-placed Clitheroe – a 2-1 triumph in the UniBond Challenge Cup.
Peter Smith’s Clitheroe, though, won the league meeting between the sides at Shawbridge.
Louis Mayers will be unavailable for the Blues tomorrow because he is having a trial with a professional club.
