Two of Liverpool's top youngsters will be present when pre-season training begins this week.
Jay Smith and Jimmy Ryan will start pre-season with the Shakers, and could figure in Tuesday night's friendly at Altrincham.
Having worked hard establishing a link-up with the Anfield giants this summer, the club are expecting to run the rule over two midfielders, both of whom have figured in the League Two club's reserve team.
The relationship between the two clubs has been strong since chief scout Frank McParland, now at Bolton Wanderers, took an interest in midfielder David Worrall.
When McParland announced he was leaving Merseyside for the Reebok, it seemed the link could be in jeopardy. But with the expected arrival of the two teenagers this week, it is hoped further loans can be made between the Shakers and the Premiership giants.
