Accrington Stanley close to Cook appointment

ACCRINGTON Stanley are set to confirm Paul Cook as their new manager.

Cook's agent Gordon Armstrong has confirmed to the Lancashire Telegraph that the Reds have now agreed terms with the 44-year-old and are close to unveiling him as boss.

Stanley are expected to install caretaker Leam Richardson as his assistant.

Confused???
This comment from Stretch doesn't tie in at all with the statement that was issued by the club on Friday - what happened to giving Leam & co time etc.,?
If there is any truth in Cook coming back I hope it's also true that Leam will be kept as his assistant
Time will tell I suppose

Agree with accstan.... Who is the reporter for this? Nothing else is being reported anywhere, this should be a huge scoop for the LT if its true, where has the unknown reporter got this story from????
