ACCRINGTON Stanley are hopeful that top scorer Bobby Grant will be back in action within the next two weeks after his hamstring injury proved not to be as bad as first feared.
Grant missed Saturday’s trip to Barnet after pulling out of the midweek fixture against Macclesfield in the warm-up, with the Reds fearing they could lose their 16-goal striker for some time.
The 19-year-old will be absent again for tonight’s home game against Rotherham but will be hoping to be fit for the trip to Bournemouth on March 27.
“It’s not as bad as we thought,” said assistant manager Jimmy Bell.
“It will probably be 10 days or two weeks.”
