SCOTT Brown is a major doubt for Accrington Stanley when they entertain relegation battlers York City tomorrow.

Midfielder Brown limped out of the 2-2 home draw with Morecambe after tweaking his hamstring and missed the midweek win at Hartlepool.

Reds manager John Coleman said: "Scott's getting treatment and I don't know whether Saturday might be a bit too soon for him.

"I'd say this time next week you'd expect him to be training."

Matt Crooks has been out of action since limping off against Plymouth last month and is yet to make a full recovery.

But Joe Wright is back in training after his knee injury and could figure against the Minstermen.

Striker Terry Gornell was on the bench at Victoria Park after missing last weekend through illness and is in contention for a starting spot.

Coleman added: "We have Wright back in, but Crooks isn't available for the weekend.

"Apart from that, there's just one or two bumps and bruises."

Coleman admitted he will chop and change as he sees fit as Stanley face arguably the three biggest games in the club's history.

But he insists it won't be changes for change's sake, rather a line-up to suit the job in hand.

"It's not really rotation, it's just what we thought was best for the day," he said.

"I'm not really a Tinkerman, I don't really subscribe to that, but if you think players are looking jaded and you've got the ability to replace them, I don't see a reason not to.

"We've got options and they are lads who are very, very good players who aren't even getting on the bench.
