ACCRINGTON Stanley will host York City in the opening round of the FA Cup while Chorley will be at home to Boreham Wood if they get past Northwich Victoria in tonight’s replay.

Matt Jansen’s side drew 0-0 with Evo-Stik League side Northwich on Friday night with a home tie against National League opposition now on offer for tonight’s winners.

Stanley lost a second round reply to Yeovil in last season’s FA Cup when a victory would have secured them a home tie with Manchester United in round three.

National League North side Chorley have not reached the first round proper since 1990 when they beat Bury before bowing out to Shrewsbury.

But the Magpies do have cup pedigree having knocked out Wolves in a replay in 1986-87 before facing Preston. Chorley drew at Ewood Park before losing a replay at Deepdale.

The first round ties will be played from November 6-9.
