ACCRINGTON Stanley are within two points of the play-off places after John Coleman made it two wins out of two since returning as manager.

Coleman was taking charge of his first home game since starting his second spell as boss, after a 5-4 victory at Northampton Town last weekend.

The Reds were ahead after only 13 minutes of the League Two clash with Plymouth Argyle when Kal Naismith collected Josh Windass' pass and beat keeper Luke McCormick.

Aaron Chapman kept a clean sheet on his Stanley debut in goal after arriving on loan from Chesterfield, aided by Nicky Hunt's crucial goal-line clearance from Kelvin Mellor in the closing stages.

Stanley went seven games without a victory at the start of the season but have now won four of their last five matches to climb to 16th in the table - only two points behind seventh spot.
