  • "I was at the match and I have to say Accrington were poor, the visitors were lucky to get a surprise goal after 4 mins, However there was no excuse for the lack lustre performance, It was certainly not worth the admission fee. Stanley will have to do much better just to stay up. I know as a club we have very little in the way of finance but I am afraid the current players are not up to the job. we will have to hope James Beattie can do some wheeling and dealing in the close season. I do hope he stays as manager as I do believe he can and will take the club further than anyone else at this moment in time. But for now it is wake up Stanley we are no even safe yet."
