TEN-MAN Accrington Stanley were denied their first league win of the season by a late equaliser at AFC Wimbledon this afternoon.
Stanley led in the 17th minute as Kayode Odejayi headed home Lee Naylor's corner, giving League Two's bottom side real hope of a victory at Kingsmeadow.
The Reds had already lost Rob Atkinson to injury but were then reduced to 10 men on the stroke of half time as Odejayi was controverisally dismissed for violent conduct.
Stanley looked like they may still be able to secure all three points but Alan Bennett headed home for Wimbledon to make it 1-1 with only four minutes remaining.
