ACCRINGTON Stanley have teamed up with Blackburn Hawks to offer Reds season ticket holders the chance to enjoy a double-header of free sporting action.
As part of Stanley’s partnership with the Hawks ice hockey team, anyone who goes along to the ice hockey side’s home game with Solway Sharks on Sunday, October 20, can get in for free.
The match comes the day after Stanley take on Oxford United in League Two action at the Store First Stadium.
The two clubs have forged close links in the past few months with a number of Hawks supporters travelling to watch James Beattie’s side lose 2-1 to Dagenham & Redbridge on Friday night as part of Stanley’s ‘Fan Friday’ initiative.
The Hawks have won all four of their games so far this season and are flying high in the National Ice Hockey League Division One having won the title last season following a dramatic play-off win over Billingham Stars.
Stanley meanwhile, sit bottom of the Football League having collected just two points from a possible 30 across their opening 10 games.
The Reds travel to AFC Wimbledon this weekend.
