Burnley striker Austin waits on Howe future

CHARLIE Austin says the Burnley squad are still waiting for news on the future of boss Eddie Howe.
Howe took training this morning but Bournemouth now say they are close to a deal to take Howe back to the south coast after making an official approach for the Burnley manager.
Austin was signed for Burnley by Howe but the striker was tonight waiting to hear about the manager’s future.
Asked what the current situation was, he said: "I’m not really too sure to be honest.
“He took training this morning and obviously we’ve heard the same stories as everybody else, we’re just waiting to see what happens.
“I hope he stays but we have to respect his decision.
“Nothing was said (this morning), we were training as normal, just going about our business.
"The manager has shown great faith in me, he spent the money to bring me from Swindon to Burnley and it would be sad if he did leave."
