Leicester produced a strong second-half comeback to see off Burnley 2-1 and keep their 100 per cent home record in the npower Championship intact.

The Foxes, whose three away games have ended in defeat, were up against it when Dean Marney fired in an early opener to give Burnley the lead.

But David Nugent levelled matters with the second half only two minutes old, finishing from close range before Jamie Vardy scored his first home goal for the club with a neat finish to seal the points 10 minutes later.

The win sees Nigel Pearson's side climb nine places in the table and all of a sudden their outlook for the season looks more promising.

See normal service has been resumed after the tubbing of a poor Peterborough side. Cannot understand why Edgar was back in the side instead of Mee being given a chance. Also why wasn't Sam Vokes given the chance up front alongside Pato? Words are fine about finances being tight and not going into the loan market. But Austin going through the season without injury is asking too much and any excuse from Eddie that his absence contributed to our defeat will be a lame one because once again we have conceeded two goals in a game which is not good enough. Sort it out Eddie and quick as the fans patience is fast running out as our gate on Saturday proved. Another 500 down on the Brighton gate which could signal one or two players leaving when the January transfer window opens. But let us not forget; " At least we didn't bet the ranch ". And look where that has got us : "In the lower regions of the Championship with only five wins in twenty-one league games."

Never knew Rovers fans had so much stamina. I am impressed. Not sure though why you have to travel to Towneley for your pleasure. I would have thought the horse trade was thriving in Blackburn.
