HALF-TIME: Burnley 2, Peterborough 2

BURNLEY have fought their way back into this game after surrendering an early lead.

The Clarets went ahead in the seventh minute through Chris McCann's first league goal of the season, but fell behind after three minutes of madness.

Burnley were lining up to shoot and should have extended their lead, but Peterborough equalised against the run of play after being awarded a penalty following Michael Duff's foul on Nathan Mendez-Laing, which Lee Tomlin converted.

Posh then took an unlikely lead in the 23rd minute.

Martin Paterson conceded possession and the Clarets defence made it too easy for the visitors to pass and move, resulting in Mendez-Laing firing across an exposed Lee Grant.

Burnley were shell-shocked, but came to life before the break, equalising after Charlie Austin's low shot was turned in by Michael Bostwick a yard out.
