Burnley relegation rivals Hull City appoint new manager

HULL City, currently one place below Burnley in the Premier League, have appointed Iain Dowie as their new manager.

The struggling East Yorkshire club parted company with Phil Brown earlier this week and Dowie emerged as the leading contender.

Bookmakers stopped taking bets on Dowie as the former Crystal Palace and Charlton boss, currently working as a pundit on Sky Sports, emerged as the number one contender.

Dowie, who will be assisted by Steve Wigley and ex-Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Tim Flowers, will have just nine games to save the Tigers from relegation.

He's got a face that looks like he is chewing a wasp..............
I am sorry to the Burnley fans here, But i cannot work out who is the worst manager in Laws and Dowie, They are both crap........
Seems both will have short term stints in the Premiership.

Dowie is possibly the worst appointment any club could make, whats he ever done in management?? Hull fans must be gutted, thought changing the manager might help but they have gone backwards
