I am assuming by this comment that you are a Rovers supporter? Funny how you can't sell all yours even after trying to give them away!! Who can blame anyone for buying a ST at Turf Moor - quality football match after match.

Norman, thank you for the compliments regarding Turf Moor and I'm pleased you find it "quite sweet". obviously you are used to the finer things in life so may I take this opportunity to invite you and your pals for pre-match drinks in the various quality watering holes that lead to the "wooden ground". I'm sure you will not have to announce your arrival come the day as your cultural ambiance will shine through and us lesser mortals will be in awe of our superior neighbours. Go on Norm give it a try. I do not have my readers to hand and can't make out your user name is it Norman the wan*er ? See you soon.

The Dingles seem to be getting a bit giddy. After gaining promotion to the top flight of English football, for the first time since the Beatles topped the charts, they are spouting some serious drivel. Because of this, i've decided to offer these Dingles a series of bets for the forthcoming campaign.

Bet No.1 Rovers will finish the season with a higher average attendance than Burnley.

Bet No.2 Rovers will finish higher in the Premier league than Burnley.

Bet No.3 Rovers will win more games than Burnley.

Bet No.4 Rovers will score more goals than Burnley.

Bet No.5 Rovers will concede fewer goals than Burnley.

Any takers?

I will take you on Ducky. Here is the bet:

Burnleys average league attendance will be a higher percentage of ground capacity than Blackburns.

Maybe once Burnley become part of the premier league establishment attendances will go back down to the 14,000 mark. Oh wait, that's never going to happen, sorry, confusing with the other east lancs club, the one which takes top flight football as the norm.

Premier League rules state that no alcohol can be consumed inside the seating area of grounds. But do they have they same rule for heroin and crack? im sure nobody wants to see Bumley fans cranking up every time there is a shot of the crowd at t'Turf. It may be worthwhile putting some signs up to remind your fans?

FLASH Chris Eagles stuns team-mates at Premier League new boys Burnley - by turning up for training in a £150,000 Lamborghini.

The 192mph supercar might be at home at nearby giants Manchester United, but it stood out a mile at the Clarets' humble car park.

Focused ... Michael Duff

He pulled up next to a battered Vauxhall Astra van and then saw defender Michael Duff arrive in his wife's £12,000 Ford Focus.

A club insider said: "We don't get too many Lamborghinis around these parts! But Chris promised himself that if Burnley were promoted he'd buy a top car."

Midfielder Eagles, 23 - bought from United for £1million - even splashed out on personalised plate E4 GLS for the top range Gallardo.

Burnley is the smallest town ever represented in the Premier League and will have the lowest wage bill.

Eagles is believed to be among their highest earners on about £15,000 a week.

Why players over the odds? Look what happened last season when you had so called big stars they left for more cash than you lot could pay them. Neither Burnley nor Blackburn can pay out stupid money like £120 K for players for a week. This is whats killing the game far to big wages only the top clubs can afford. They buy titles not win them by merit.
