THE plaudits have been coming Sean Dyche's way during the international break and the Clarets chief admitted it was 'nice to be recognised' ahead of Burnley's clash with West Ham today.

Dyche received plenty of praise from BBC Radio 5Live pundits following the win over Everton two weeks ago, with former Clarets striker Ian Wright calling him a future England manager.

That call was backed by his opposite number this Saturday, Slaven Bilic, and while Dyche is happy to hear the praise he said it wouldn't be possible without his backroom staff and players.

"You want, like anyone, your work with the team to be successful," Dyche said. "What comes off the back of that is sometimes being recognised yourself, but without a team and without a staff it means nothing.

"There’s a lot more to it than me doing what I try and do. I am human, believe it or not, and it’s nice when people say some nice things, I have had some not nice things said about me lots of times, so now and then you afford yourself a moment to take it in.

"For every positive judge there’s a negative judge, because there’s so much out there, but of course it’s pleasant to be recognised."
