BURNLEY'S move for Deportivo La Coruna striker Florin Andone could hinge on the Clarets offering enough to help the La Liga side fund a move for Arsenal frontman Lucas Perez.

Burnley have seen an £11.8million bid turned down by Depor for the 24-year-old Romanian, with reports in Spain insisting the club do not want to lose a player they only signed a year ago.

But Depor have been chasing Perez during the summer and are keen to bring their former striker back to the Riazor, just a year after he left to join Arsenal.

The Spanish side have seen an initial bid of around £11million rejected by the Gunners, but could return with a new offer if the Clarets cough up enough to convince Deportivo to part with Andone, who scored 12 La Liga goals last season.

It may take an offer of at least £18million for Deportivo to do business over Andone, with the club only receiving 70 per cent of the transfer fee, with 30 per cent due to his former club Cordoba.

Deportivo signed Andone for around €4.5million last summer.
