BURNLEY have had a second bid for Hull City midfielder Sam Clucas rejected.
The Clarets' £10million bid for the 26-year-old has been turned down by the Tigers, with boss Leonid Slutsky determined to hang on to Clucas.
Burnley saw an opening offer of £5million rejected last week for a player who scored three times in 37 Premier League games for Hull last season.
It understood that Clucas would be open to a return to the top flight, with a couple of others clubs also interested in his services.
But the Tigers are determined to hang on to the midfielder, who can also operate out wide, and they are set to open contract talks over extending Clucas' deal, despite him only signing a three-year contract last summer.
