BURNLEY have completed a deal for Birmingham City goalkeeper Adam Legzdins.

The 30-year-old has signed a three-year-deal at Turf Moor for an undisclosed fee.

The Clarets have been on the lookout for a third senior goalkeeper since Paul Robinson decided to turn down a one-year extension and hang up his gloves at the start of July.

The former Burton Albion and Derby County stopper has made 15 Championship appearances across two seasons in his most recent spell with the Blues.

He will provide further competition for Tom Heaton and Nick Pope.

Meanwhile, young Burnley goalkeeper Connor Mitchell has joined National League side Chester City on loan until January.
