ROBBIE Brady is showing signs he’s finally fitting in to the Burnley way of playing, according to Clarets skipper Tom Heaton.
The Republic of Ireland winger will be hoping he gets the nod again at Everton after he played the full 90 minutes against Middlesbrough last weekend – only his fourth start since arriving for a club record fee from Norwich in January.
And Heaton is certain Brady has adapted to his new surroundings.
“Ability-wise you can see how much quality he has got,” the goalkeeper said of the 25-year-old.
“Coming in to the way we play and the system, it is probably slightly different to what he’s seen before. We’re slightly different in how we go about it and I think it’s just taken time for that bedding in period.
“I thought he was outstanding against Middlesbrough. He used the ball really well and created a few chances, a few shots on goal.
“It’s a great sign of what he’s all about and what we’re going to see from him.”
