BURNLEY boss Sean Dyche said he was working on a couple of moves for players that have ‘got a chance’ of coming off in the January transfer window.

So far this month the Clarets have only completed the deal for the return of midfielder Joey Barton on a free transfer.

Reports in Italy have suggested they are battling Sunderland for the signing of Inter Milan full-back Yuto Nagatomo.

The 30-year-old only signed a new deal with Inter last April but he could be allowed to leave this month, although he may need convincing to quit Serie A for the Premier League.

Of Burnley’s January activity, Dyche said: “We try to work in the right manner for us. We try to do any business we’re attempting to do as quietly as we can. There are some things going on at the moment, when they’re ready for the press they’ll come out.

“There are some calls being made. There are a few situations that have got a chance.”
