BURNLEY have announced that earlybird season tickets for the 2017/18 season are set to go on sale soon, with prices frozen from this campaign.

Anybody who bought a season ticket last year and used the club's direct debit scheme to spread the costs over 12 months will have their season ticket for next season renewed automatically.

A club spokesman said: "As per your direct debit agreement, and out of courtesy, you will soon receive a personal letter from the club informing you of the price freeze, but to continue to show your amazing support for the Clarets you don’t need to do anything.

"The 2017/2018 season covering all league home games at Turf Moor will be automatically loaded onto your TeamCard, in time for the 2017/2018 league campaign."

There is still time to sign up for the direct debt scheme for the 2017/18 season at the same cost.

Alternatively supporters can pay up front and redeem any TeamCard loyalty points you have against the cost of renewal.

If you would like to renew or pay for your 2017/18 SeasonCard up front you may do so by going online, going to the Turf Moor Ticket Office, or by calling 0871 221 1914 from Monday (January 16).

The earlybird season ticket period will end at close of business on Friday, March 31, at which point season ticket sales will be suspended.
