SEAN Dyche believes Everton have quickly got to grips with what Ronald Koeman wants from his team and the Clarets chief expects them to pose a tough test at Turf Moor today (3pm).

The Toffees are sixth in the Premier League having become the first side to take points off Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium last weekend.

That was a second draw in a row for Koeman’s men, who suffered a Goodison stalemate against Crystal Palace under the watching gaze of Dyche.

Added to an EFL Cup defeat to Norwich and a league reverse to Bournemouth, Everton are now four games without a win, a run Burnley will be keen to extend this afternoon.

“I saw them the other week against Palace, they’re a good side and Ronald Koeman is getting his own ways across to them,” said Dyche.

“They’ve slowed down a little bit after a very good start. They’ve got strength, real good Premier League experience, most people have against us so we’re aware of that, they’re all big challenges and this another.

“Everton are a good side, he’s played a few formations and he has the flexibility to do that, he’s got players who can alter shapes quickly.

“It’s important the players understand the tactical formation but often it goes into performances, at the end of the day it can just be the delivery of tactics that make a difference.”

Burnley are looking forward to returning to Turf Moor today after losing 3-1 at Southampton last weekend.

But Dyche believes the Turf faithful can make a difference.

“It’s different at home, our fans back us to the hilt, we’ve a good feel about Turf Moorso it’s taking that feeling away,” he said.
