BURNLEY were in the Championship when they faced Southampton in the FA Cup in 2013/14 and the sides shared seven goals in a thriller.
It was a season that would end with the Clarets joining the Saints in the Premier League, but in the FA Cup third round they played out a superb tie.
Southampton raced into a 2-0 lead inside half an hour through Nathaniel Clyne and Rickie Lambert and it stayed that way until half time.
Within 15 minutes of the restart Sam Vokes and Danny Ings had bought the scores level, but former Claret Jay Rodriguez and Adam Lallana restored the Saints' two goal advantage.
Kevin Long headed home a third for Burnley after 87 minutes but it was Southampton who edged it 4-3.
